The challenge
Organizations that rely on manual attendance sheets, spreadsheets or disconnected punch systems often struggle to maintain an accurate record of employee arrival, departure, late attendance and total working hours.
The challenge becomes greater when teams work with different shift structures, split working periods or multiple check-in and check-out events during the same day. HR teams need more than a simple timestamp — they need a reliable attendance trail that can be compared against each employee's expected schedule.
The project required a centralized attendance system where employees could record attendance through a shared kiosk while administrators independently managed employees, departments, work-time definitions, attendance records and payroll-ready reports.
